Pancakes with Bacon and Honey
Slightly sweet, oh so fluffy pancake bites paired with the aromatic depth of honey and salty bacon pieces…-
Pancakes with Bacon and Honey adapted from the Jamie magazine
For six small ones you need:
- 1 egg
- 250 ml milk
- a hint of salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 20 gr melted butter
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- the amount of flour that fits into a 250 ml cup
- few slices of bacon
- runny honey
- powder sugar
In a small bowl mingle egg, milk, salt, sugar and butter. Now quickly add baking powder and flour and mix until you have a smooth batter.
Fry small amounts of batter to little pancakes in a buttered pan. Also fry the bacon slices.
Arrange the pancakes on a small plate, place the bacon and spread some powder sugar. Drizzle some honey, too!
Maybe you want to add some berries-

Anything with the word “bacon” in the title and I’m there!
I love these pancakes and the use of honey as the syrup sounds delicious. I love dipping bacon in honey, so this combination is right up my alley! Love it!
i also love the combination of sweet and salty and sweet and hearty – so this would be my perfect breakfast!
Bacon and Honey… I have never had such a combination. Sounds very intriguing.
